Terms of Service

These rules set out the terms and conditions for using the services provided by HostingRakyat. By registering for, using or accessing our services, users are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to the entire contents of this document.

1Introduction

• HostingRakyat is a provider of hosting, domain and server services and related information technology services.
• A user is an individual, organisation or legal entity that uses HostingRakyat services.
• These Terms & Conditions apply to all users, without exception.

2Subscription Activation

• Services can only be activated after the user's payment has been confirmed by HostingRakyat's official payment system.
• Services are activated according to the plan the user selected at registration or when ordering.
• HostingRakyat reserves the right to reject a service order if there are indications of unauthorised use, a violation of the law or invalid user data.

3Subscription Renewal, Upgrades and Downgrades

• Users must renew the service before the active period ends so that the service is not discontinued.
• If the user does not renew the service beyond the stipulated grace period, the service may be permanently terminated and the related data may be deleted.
• Users may upgrade or downgrade their service plan as needed, provided that the cost difference is calculated pro rata.
• Changes to the service take effect only after any additional payment has been confirmed by the system.

4Backups and Data Recovery

• Users are fully responsible for backing up their data regularly.
• HostingRakyat may provide automatic backups for certain plans, but does not guarantee the completeness, consistency or success of backup data.
• Data can only be restored depending on the availability of backups held by HostingRakyat.
• HostingRakyat is not responsible for data loss caused by user negligence or circumstances beyond technical control (force majeure, disasters, cyberattacks).

5Content Policy

Users are prohibited from using HostingRakyat services to:

• Store, distribute or publish illegal content, including pornography, gambling, fraud or hate speech.
• Engage in spam, phishing, malware distribution, botnets or other harmful activity.
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties, including copyrights, patents and trademarks.
• HostingRakyat reserves the right to suspend or close the service of any user who violates this content policy without prior notice.

6Violations

Any violation of these terms may result in:

• Temporary suspension of the service.
• Permanent termination of the service without refund.
• Blocking of the related domain or server.
• HostingRakyat reserves the right to report illegal activity to the authorities in accordance with the laws in force in Malaysia.

7General Conditions

• Users must keep their account credentials confidential (username, password, server credentials).
• All activity carried out through a user's account is the sole responsibility of that user.
• HostingRakyat may carry out system maintenance that may cause temporary disruption, with or without prior notice.
• HostingRakyat does not guarantee that the service will always be available with 100% uptime, although it strives to maintain the highest industry standards.

8Disclaimer

• HostingRakyat services are provided “as is” and “as available”.

HostingRakyat is not responsible for:

• Loss of data or financial loss resulting from use of the service.
• Service disruption caused by external factors beyond HostingRakyat's control.
• Indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
• HostingRakyat's maximum liability is limited to the cost of the service for the last 1 (one) month paid by the user.

9Cooperation with Law Enforcement

HostingRakyat will cooperate with law enforcement or the authorities if there is an official request relating to illegal activity carried out through HostingRakyat services.

10Changes to These Terms

• HostingRakyat reserves the right to change, add to or update this Terms of Service document at any time.
• Any changes will be announced on the official HostingRakyat website and take effect from the date of publication.
• Users are encouraged to review this document from time to time.
